Another SE5A buyer

Post by Penfold13 » Thu Mar 14, 2019 7:13 pm

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while, reading up on things preparing for purchasing the right SE5/SE5A and it's finally happened!

The car needs some work so please be patient with all of my daft questions which are due to follow...

I've already joined the RSSOC, but where do I register my car? Judging by the sticker in the window it was owned by a RSSOC owner in the past, but it was not the chap I bought it from.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hello,

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Thank you scimjim, email has been sent to the address you provided with all of the details I have for the vehicle, limited as they are.

Peter, I'm out in the wilds of west Cumbria. There aren't many Scimitars out here, I've only seen mine so far!

Thanks again,
Chris

Your local noggin will be one of the the Lake district ones then - not very close to you and not easy to get to on the Cumbrian roads.

Hi Peter,

You’re right, I’m equi-distant from both and neither are close as you pointed out. A good excuse to take the car out on a run, once it’s back on the road!

Cheers,
Chris
