1974 SE5a for sale Montrose

Post by Will Anderson » Sun Jul 21, 2019 11:57 am

On Facebook here.

I have a funny feeling I have seen this car RBW 265M before. I recall it was a low owner car in storage for quite some time and was recommissioned about 2014 ish and was being sold in Deeside?

Anyway, looks good and worth a viewing is anyone is looking for a car. Interesting that the drivers seat looks like the early type.

I believe it was owned by my namesake for many years and spotted at a few shows recently?

I’ve already had someone contact me about it - I’ve had to say I’m the “wrong” Phil Howard :D

hi-new member here from fife,scotland-bought the car today-drove home 60 odd miles found no major issues with it
i tried to buy it last time it was for sale but missed out
the gent i bought it from has cleaned it up,recommisioned it,4 new tyres, all new fluids and ignition system he has also made a few quid for himself so fair play to him

if anybody has any evidence or knowsl of the car,its history etc please let me know
i owned an se6 about 20 years ago but wasnt impressed as i had driven an se5 prior to it and found it far more nimble and a hoot to drive

Welcome and well bought.

Worthwhile dropping the SE5 registrar Dave Speed an email to see if he has any info on it - SE5.registrar@rssoc.co.uk

Otherwise I will have a check of the archives to see if I can find any old references to it.
