GTE for sale

Copied this from the Heritage Insurance website.
"When it comes to the legalities of these old style plates, officially from April 2015 vehicles registered before the 1st of January 1975 can legally display a black & silver number plate providing they are registered with the Historic Vehicles taxation class. This is not to be confused with the rolling 40-year tax exemption. The important difference between these two pieces of legislation is that the tax exemption rolls year on year while vehicles that can display black and silver number plates is fixed at classics registered before 1975."

That information is now out of date as the DVLA have published new guidelines as of April 2019....

From April 2019 vehicles manufactured before 1 January 1979 are also able to display traditional ‘black and white’ number plates. You must: • have applied to DVLA • be registered within the ‘historic vehicles’ tax class. The 40-year exemption date rolls forward automatically each year on 1 April.
