I reckon that most of the sets of 1Bs I’ve ever used would do about 14-16 events (single driven), 50/50 split between hills and sprints.

That’s R888 SG/ R888R GG/ Kumho V70 K22.

Anyone would think I was some kind of hooligan! well I commuted with them on for a week prior to Curbs, drove to Scimfest on them, did a full days testing Friday three sessions Saturday afternoon a full days sprinting on the sunday and drove home on them. spent the next week commuting on them before I went to Florida then did 30 minutes on track at three sisters and they still look good for a full season. bloody sticky even though they dont appear to be wearing very quickly and great in the wet as you saw for yourself on the Friday. the great thing about these is he will take them back and remould them for you for £80 a corner, so they are pretty cheap to replace, he also seems to think they will pass the tests needed for 2021 so wont likely end up on the 1C list.

If anyone fancies trying the tyres I used at Curborough this year Extreme have just confirmed that they will also be on the 1B list for 2020 after which they are potentially going to be moved to the 1C list! Please use the link below if you are going to place an order, he will give me some money of my next set and I will buy you a beer

I’ve just been looking at their 13” offerings. I’d be interested to know what carcasses they use for the remould, as I’d probably go for a 205/60/13, but don’t want something with soft side walls.

Have you used them in the wet? And if so how were they?

Rainport vs most 1B tyres will be like night and day when you’ve got over 150BHP in a Scim on track.

I’m guessing Mikey will be north of 200bhp/ton..if not, he’s done something wrong!

They use there own carcass you cannot send them any old tyre to remould, I bought brand new carcasses from them hence the "NK" part of the name

then when you are done with them they are on an exchange basis hence the remoulding, I wouldnt get too hung up on the remould side of it they are used for drifting too and I cant find any reports of a failure, nothing but praise. Mikey I would grab some VR2 if I were you.
