My own fault, bought a top end kit, rather than full, as hadnt intended in removing turbo. Water pump gsket is only in full

I had a spare set but flogged it to Ben Gough when he was building his circuit racer as id 'never need it'

Sent you an FB message Craig. I've found you a nice quality Fel-Pro pump gasket.

Had chance to prime and then paint the cam belt cover. Its a nissan gunmetal, and pretty damn identical to the original.
Will leave to fully cure for a day or two and then clear hard lacquer

That’s a handy looking expansion bottle - where did you find that one?

Tbf its your fault Nick. If only youd followed the traditional fast small sports recipe of "quick but scruffy" it wouldve been fine, but nooooo, smarty pants Keyser had to make his fast, effective and neat and tidy and shiny... bloody kids,

I have seen this before where racers reach a certain time in their lives where they start painting and polishing and the look of the car becomes more important. The same happened to Gerry Cunningham and Jerry Ree to the point where they started to receive anonymous parcels containing yellow dusters and cotton buds in the post. With Jerry Ree it got so bad he gave up sprinting and can now be seen at shows displaying his GTC which he constantly polishes and checks for stone chips, dust etc. Get control before it is too late.
