I've turned my back on them atm, pie an' chips night! Now you've sowed a seed of doubt I'll have to go and see.😳 I "skinned" the wooden props with cling film so hopefully it will all just fall apart, baring the grp! This "new to me" black art is rapidly becoming addictive!

More "plastic welding" done and I said previously I was working towards my first cock-up, well I mixed far too much fer this mornings jobs and hurriedly bashed the left-overs on a new flat panel. Too late, got half the area covered and stippled when it all went fubared! Still, I now know how long, in minutes, I've got before I become an abstract artist😳😜😁.

Nice work Dad!
As for the first mistake, probably the best/easiest one to pick😁
No damage to the car to remove, just make into small bits (to be used if they are ok & if not small enough to fit in the bin)

Ah, you think you do, but it depends on ambient temperature too...

Some resins have it on the label how much catalyst to use for different ambient temperatures.

Yerse. Bleddy witchcraft, I'm taking the example of how my missus used to APPEAR to mix cakes! They were always more-ish an' looked/smelled amazing but she seldom used science, well the pong in the man-cave is also amazin' cos it chases me out every mix fer a shmoke.

Yep, I've read an' re-read the destructions, so far it's going ok, all curing too.

Loads of prep work done sanding and filing back through road dirt, black paint, etc prior to the next grp repairs. Drivers side engine bay done where the suspension towers are supported, just the tissue layer to go. Onward to the passenger side where the join between the historic new front was fitted. The two bits were 1/2" out of line so thunked about how to bring it all back in alignment, several shmokes and coffees later, I weakened the body in a few places using the multi-tool to allow the bits to flex without much pressure required then applied the initial repair patch underneath securely clamped with packing. As is usual, I had resin left over so did the initial patches over a few of the holes in the drivers footwell.
