I still cannot walk in the garage so getting a bike never mind a car in it is not on - also I am no longer a youth - far from it. Looks like you might be able to get the Triumph straight six in as there is space at the front
Yes theres a few straight 6 ones been built
Many, many moons ago, I acquired a 'straight 6' one - problem was it needed considerably more doing to it than this one, so I offloaded it. In their price range they are the most accurate 'square-rigger,' MG copies & I'm impressed to hear that they're still in business. The grilles tended to be MG ZA/B which this one has, by the look of it. Would be a great, fun, cheap, economical little runabout on a lovely summer's day, you engineering/restoration chappies! Good luck with the sale, Dave....

A lick of paint and getting it running will aid the sale I'm sure. Just didn't want to trip over it for the next 12 months or more. It would help if I hadn't paid so much for it :w

Where did you get it from, Dave - was it at that recent sale near Preston?

Gentry MGTF kit car. £600

I now have the v5 for the car and still cant see me doing much with it anytime soon. I somewhat foolishly gave £1500 ,or thereabouts, and was thinking I might get 1000 back for it. However, I've just got no space left let alone time. I've not as yet advertised it but if anyone wants it for £600 and the pleasure of seeing me lose a grand, it's all yours 👍😁 I might even deal on your unwanted scim project.

Seems daft to take that sort of hit on it, Dave - you need to take on an apprentice (financed & paid for by the government, preferably...) - then get him or her to restore & paint it under your supervision. They would get valuable experience & some expertise & you'd have a dinky little summer runabout worth somewhere between £4 & £7k, at a guess!.......Win/win all round!!!
