BW35 output shaft

I replaced the rear gearbox seal today and found that the output shaft had a fair bit of movement in all directions, is this normal or as I suspect soon to be terminal?

It’s going to be quite free until you put the prop back in? It’s the outer sleeve face of the prop which sits in the output bearing IIRC?
