SAR Massive irregular misfire

I had the same rotor arm problem with my straight Six Coupe, much as I appreciate and buy from QRG, I would’nt buy a rotor arm from him, they (ie rotor arm x 2 bought from him) caused me to call out the recovery services.I’d buy from the Distributor Doctor,no more problems,Peter

Se6a Radio

Hi, only used 2 one in top of dash, original fitting place, and one under dash.I like music, but mainly want a radio to get traffic info. This works well, and as you say blends well into the dash, cheers Peter

I agree with Peter, why put up with an old radio? You can get a modern unit that fits in with the dash, here’s my V6 Coupe fitted last year with a JVC

Smashing rotor arm

Hi, I too had the same problem, thought it was me being hamfisted in the first instance. But 3 rotor arms later and a recovery journey home, even though the rotors were supplied by QRG.I went to the Distributor Doctor (google him),he’s a bit of a clever dick, but give him his due he knows his stuff,He ...

Changing seats in an SE4

Sorry Jerry could’nt say what model MX5 they come from, both have radio speakers in the headrest, and are the tombstone type Brian mentions.I’d suggest cruising the auction sites and ask sellers to measure, cheers Peter

Changing seats in an SE4

Hi Jerry, measured them, at the seat back they are approx 40 cm, and at the front of the bolster they are 48 cm,but this is fairly soft and they will compress back to 40cms.I’d recommend them, we also have them in a MGBGT we drove 6000 miles to Athens and back in comfort, regards Peter

As an aside, the windscreen fitter asked if it was possible to remove the dash top to facilitate the refit, is this normal practice, and if so, how do you remove the dash top, thanks Peter
