Tillet make some decent seats and they are a good fit being narrow. I'm sure they would be great for a 20 mile blast round country lanes, but they don't look as though you'd want to drive 300 miles in them? but OK if flying a 'Lancaster' at 12000ft for ten hours? :wink: GTE Lancaster's dont run for...

Polycarb doesnt like chemicals, blooms with thinners, brake cleaner and the like.
Wash off and spray with non silicone furniture polish :-)

Cut with jigsaw with a fine tooth metal blade. File and sand radiuses to make it edges feel less sharp and stops stress raisers.

Lexan and Macrolon are brand names for Polycarbonate. DONT buy clear acrylic, Perspex is the commin brand name, it cracks with imapct, must be polycarbonate. Youll have a local commercial plastics supplier, thats best bet. Not cheap but at 7mm thick its bullet proof (riot shields, bullet proof windo...
