Corky's Scimitars & S2K

I stuck a Michelotti badge on, That is a common myth Steve. Michelotti popped his Italian Brogues before the SS1 was finished. Have you been reading, and believing, the tosh written about the LHD Re imported Sabre :?:  Michelotti died from bite wounds inflicted by his guide dog...

Yea, S2000 go the wrong way. It’s not a massive issue in a GTE once the seats are turned around, they already have a nice big rear window with a wiper.
And the "barn door" aero is unaffected...

I'm bathing in the glory of all you relics lovers finally seeing the light! Modern motors are best, Essex hold open doors and make the scrap mans eyes light up, that's all...   Oh, and to those reading Corkys comment about revving to 9000rpm, that's not 4500 Saturday and ...

Swoakes SS1 DET Sprint Car misfire

To be fair, modern plugs, or at least modern (proper) ignition systems do seem intolerant of plugs. I've never had any joy cleaning plugs, whereas back in the day you could wire brush them, wipe them on your Jean's and they'd run lovely again

Swoakes SS1 DET Sprint Car misfire

What's wrong with number plate removal.in RG? Is it against BB? Genuine question as I dint know. Ideal.place as you hide the extra strut mounting holes which are nicely hidden when the plates refitted RG (and the new standard class): 11.2. Cars must compete in an event in a road legal condition IIR...

Front Wheel Bearings - The quest to find an alternative

The avenue I have wondered about was new billet aluminium hubs that take a common bearing and an off the shelf or minimally modified vented disc. Walkers Sabre had alloy front hubs, replicas of original reliant design. When Paul M bought the car, only one was present so one must have failed, nearsi...
