New Rocker Covers!

Nope, paid for them up front to a custom design and lost the money. Mate that's awful! Sorry to hear that! Would it be worth trying again? Barbara ordered a pair for my GTC as a birthday present back in June. They never showed up. After seeing this post she e-mailed him and apparently he boxed them...

Welding to front passenger seat belt anchor

Hello, the SE6 A has some rusting to the upright where it fixes to the chassis requiring welding. The problem I have is a mechanic I have asked has quoted me a small fortune to repair it, because he says he needs to take the body off the chassis. What I was wondering was whether anyone knows if it ...

Thanks for posting Jim. It's a shame that reg numbers weren't printed, but I'm pretty sure that's my Sabre Six leading the standard Sabres group. I know it was owned by Greg Marsters in 1984 - fascinating stuff. centrefold Slice 68 0FE0B9C6-7FF7-4E88-9892-0B5556F57118.jpeg Thats a name from the pas...

Scimitar values in 2020

I measure the value of both the SS1 and GTC by the fun and enjoyment driving them. I only have a rough idea on what was spent on the SS1. It is the money spent on the GTC that is frightening. I have all the receipts and it is scary. I didnt envisage spending that amount when I started the work on it...

Stainless Steel Window Frames

I spoke to someone at Curborough last year who had made some SS frames himself in his garage. The one he showed me looked good and he said he was going to talk to Graham Walker and Nigel. Whether he did or not I have no idea. It might be worth trying them.

By all means use Coverdale but only to buy it off the roll. I would suggest you don’t get them to cut it to their pattern first though.
Wise words Phil. My set were an appalling fit.

So, just when you think about getting out on the open road, a kick in the teeth. Started getting problems with the engine stalling at low revs when it was put into gear ( forward and reverse). Fine once it got going gear change quite smooth and the kickdown working. After the usual suspects were eli...

After hours of rubbing down the results look good. What looks even better is the money Ive managed to keep in my bank account! Hoped to get a better shine, but I didnt realise how deep the damage was .Now they look better with the new centres on the car.
