Does anyone know if someone makes a fibreglass replacement for the SE 6 dash crash pad. my car's original pad is warped thus I would like to replace it a non warping crash pad.

Involves cutting the underside and rebonding

Well, yes.

There is a 6a with one made out of a very large chunk of wood...

Depends how bad it is, I just leave a 2lb lump hammer on some rag, on the dash when parked,
works a treat.

If you obey the current Laws and wear a seat belt you should not get anywhere near the crashpad :?:

Some years ago while travelling through Bradistan at 30mph a person in a VW VR6 decided to pull out of a side road to do a Right turn and push his way into the moving traffic.
As I was blindsided by other obstacles and didn`t see him till the last second, I hit his drivers door and front suspension.
Smashed his fancy alloy into bits and spun him round to 45 degrees.
Only major damage to the Scim was the front skirt was wrecked.
The seat belt did its intended and I was totally unhurt.

His wallet wasn`t after we had been to court as he claimed against MY insurance stating I was at fault.
Apart from the obvious, that he had pulled out on ME, the Judge was very happy to look at the pictures of the scene I took.
The one from the road he had pulled out from had A rather large STOP sign placed at the junction.
Needless to say Mr Malik, or his legal team, never turned up in court and the Judge found in my favour, even awarding the cost of the film and development.

Could you point me in the direction of photos of the fibreglass replacement?
