Hello everyone !
I own a Reliant Scimitar GTE Overlord in south of France. However, the car is in bad conditions, I got it from the previous English owner who bring it to France 40 years ago.
The car (see pictures attached) is not running and I would like to restore it but I don’t have the logbook, the V5C or anything like that. Prior to restoring it I need to get a french registration. To do so, I have to get a new registration certificate from England.
I hope to see it running on the roads again.

I am wondering if you could help me getting a new english registration.

Overlord
Not heard of a Reliant overlord before, looks like an SE5. Are you sure it's not a Reliant Scimitar with the GTE Overdrive lettering on the rear right hand quarter above the rear lights.

Welcome to the forum :D

Unfortunately, the registration number doesn’t appear on the UK computer system (DVLA). If it did, you could get someone in UK to apply for a new V5 without problem. If it’s not on the computer, there is a strong chance they will ask to inspect the car.

Welcome!
Ask Chris Johnson, as he is the 'All things Scimitar' guy in France. It may be possible to get a Frenh registration with a CoC.
Do ask the GTE se5/a registrar if your car is known. Any old documentation does help.
