EV anyone?

Did anyone see the Wheeler Dealers installing an electric motor in a Maserati last evening? Shame it was set in California, I could see that being done to a Scimitar!. Or are there people in the UK doing this sort of thing?
Alex.

i did see it and thought 'damn' should not have sold the 330 :-) although I suspect I'd have to have uprated the gearbox/axle as they were prone to breaking once upped the torque from bigger engine (850 vs 701  ) but given tehtorque from an AC induction/ FLT motor, straight onto axle?

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.

FLT?
Well they're not very fast, are they? And look at the size of their batteries...…….
(And there still isn't an emoji for hysterical laughter.)
Sorry; bit bored here...

Well there seem to be a few people in the business -
http://www.electricvanandcar.co.uk/
https://www.electricclassiccars.co.uk/
http://londonelectriccars.com/
https://zero-ev.co.uk/
I might get in touch and see what they have to say for themselves

the cunning plan was to put the batteries in the trailer :-)

and an FLT motor will easily wizz up to 2000rpm, more than enough for nipping around town.

and yes I like the SS1/GTE hybrid as well, 480, where have I seen one (or two) of those
