Renault Scimiter [sic] Rat Rod

I am still browsing for a "no work required" Scimitar, if there is such a thing and came across this on evilBay.

I did actually once have some one get quite animated towards me when I told him my car was a Reliant , not a Renault. They walk among us, are permitted to vote and, most frighteningly of all, are even allowed to reproduce.

Many years ago, my insurance broker issued a cover note for my newly acquired SS1 - as a Renault Simitra

Perhaps they thought it was something akin to that evilbay item

I suppose the car has a kind of charm to it, sort of :?

It will be interesting to see what it makes, especially compared to Scimitars of similar age.
