Anyone know the contact details for Mark Wilson. Looking to discuss O/H of a spare rack ready for fitting to my GTC. I take it all the PAS racks are the same so an SE6 would fit a GTC?

Hi Gavin, if you are anywhere near Mark I can recommend Hydosteer in Dewsbury. They serviced mine for £125. Stripped, cleaned, fitted new seals rebuilt, painted and pressure tested.

Welcome Gavin, I see it's your first post so you are not familiar with the forum.
Follow Phil's link, you then have the option to send an e-mail via ScimWeb or send a PM (personal message)
Mark has a few personal problems at the moment but is normally very reactive.
I'm afraid I know nothing at all about power steering, good luck

Hi Gavin, if you are anywhere near Mark
Dave I can`t do racks for that price

Time alone is minimum 10 hours, then there is waiting for the paint to dry, I kid you not :D you DO have to wait for it to dry before handling :!:
Seals etc are around £35, and I always replace the internal Oilite bearings if they are worn, which adds to the costs

There is a difference between overhauling a rack and changing the seals. By the way Mark, ready when you are for the 6b rack, I would like to get it finished by the end of next week if possible?

Ron as soon as I get an exchange back you can have yours, :hurrah:

I currently have Three stripped units but am missing good parts such as Rod Ends and Pinnion assemblies. :dh
The internal Oilite bushes that a certain company are quoting £86.84 I have in stock for £35.
