I hope you did well in the photo competition, in my experience yours are usually excellent.
The 3-wheeler Reliant turned up later in the morning, I didn't snap it, so this picture is from the New Year's Day meeting at the Phoenix, a mile or so further west on the A30 from Hartford Bridge.

Let me tell you. Converted farmhouse I was working near today. The guy has two Lamborghini Aventadores ! One dark blue one green. The blue one has been tweaked by Lambo' and is dyno'd at 900 hp. The noise is awesome. Phil D.

Datsun 240Z behind it as well. Not sure the damp grass will do that one much good! :)

2 E-Types with wire wheels and white walls (US cars?) on transporter while driving to Chipping Norton. One looked very complete the other was missing windows.

You are right scimjim they were XKSS, being built to order, but there was so much in the workshop I didn't know which way to look, from E Types and D types in bits to new Land Rovers which my client has just put his order in and new old Land Rovers built from scratch, XK220 about 5 of them. I am a chauffeur and he invited me round with him ,

I love the XKSS shape but they’re surprisingly small in the flesh aren’t they?

Believe that these "new" XKSS ' s are not road legal for U.K. use even though they are supposedly on continuation chassis numbers

I heard that too but I don’t think they’re being bought to drive :)

I wonder if any of the 25 new D types will be road legal?

As I understand it although they are built to the exact original spec but with all new parts they they are classed as brand new cars and have to meet current regulations to be road registered which is impossible
