Re: Wiscombe Park
I've only ever been to one dry event there - the paddock's on a steep gradient so slick shod cars have to park on the left which has slightly more grip! I remember Ben sliding along in his Land Rover, unloading Big Bob and half a dozen of us having to stop it sliding down to the river!

Re: Wiscombe Park
If it rains in the days before, it will literally be green and wet at the top! When I did it you couldn't walk up Martini's apex.
Bloomin fantastic though. My favorite by a long way. So much atmosphere. Standing in the paddock hearing the cars across the cars terrorise some beautiful countryside. There's a bar too...
Every other tree doesnt have a hay bale tied to it, so crash carefully...

Re: Wiscombe Park
Ah - no that was Gurston Down a couple or 3 years ago. The beer at Wiscombe is particularly good however (I'm lead to believe)......
Sadly I don't think there are any SSSC contenders at either event this year. A combination of things prevent me from making the journey - not least that the events are unusually not on the same weekend.

Re: Wiscombe Park
We did indeed. I'm certain of that because I enjoy one every year
You need to get yourself back out Steve. I'm aiming for a return in the 2015 season - hope you can make it.
