Thanks John, I'll ask them for a quote before I commit myself.

I've only been valuing the car at £5k + £2.5K for the trailer, so hopefully I may get it for under £200.

Thanks John, I'll give them a bell in the morning.

Just had an email back from Ryan Motorsports Insurance, and they want £260 for £8.5K of cover with an excess of £500. I don't think they want my business

Thanks very much for the recommendation John. Just been on and bought a policy - £105 :D

Do they send you the Datatag bits and pieces or do you have to buy your own kit ?

There's a clause in the policy stating you have to fit the "Datatag" security markings within 21 days of the policy start date. I assumed they sent you a selection of stickers.

I'll give them a bell in the morning and try and find out some more information. It's not exactly clear if this just refers to Karts.

Hi John, Moris have told me that I have to buy a DataTag kit and fit it to my trailer within 21 days of the commencement of the policy. If I don't, the theft cover is void. Damage in transit is still valid though. The datatag kit costs from £62 for the lifetime of the trailer. So I still feel like I've got a bargain, and if the price stays the same next year I'll be quids in.
