Circuit des Remparts Angoulême

Post by samd » Mon Dec 07, 2009 5:08 pm

I noticed an entry for a Mark Jordan in a Sabre 6 in this years event. Does anyone else do any of these type of events?

Thanks.

SAMD are the initials of an old flame of mine from schooldays who, I was shocked to discover is now dead. Cremated, no kids etc. nothing, not even a marker of some sort.
I just decided to use her initials so there would be something to remember her.

He is one of Iain's friends and one of the regular gang of Sabre Six racers along with Richard Wos and Hugo Holder.

He's done it for a few years now. There's a very entertaining video on Youtube of the 2006 event, filmed from a TVR in a close battle with Mark (who lost his brakes at the end, with unfortunate results when (IIRC) the marshall's instructions were a bit unclear  )

cheers,

....Roger
