Thanks for posting these Mike - I'm envious :)

When will someone realise that a properly prepared SE5a would make a cracking, comfortable, reliable ride for an endurance event like this? I love it!

Anyways an se6 with a v8 did this a couple of years ago. Sounded awesome.

Not as good as my car but still good, nonetheless

Great pictures
I had 70ish cars through my control near Weston Super Mare on Saturday afternoon, they had a brief detour off the M5 for a Regularity before they headed to Caerwent Training ground in South Wales for some Tests and a supper halt near Magor. Following the halt, they continued up through the back roads of Wales to reach Chester where the first car was due around 2am!
The Bentleys are always good to see, and it looked a tight squeeze in the 1920's Ford Special (Car 2)

Aye, went for even more comfort in 2005 when we did it in an Se6a. 3 years before that , did it in an Se4a.......not quite as comfortable lol

Thanks for posting the spectator times Chris, the last cars left Roy Bridge at 8.50pm I counted about 40 still on the go :D

Though I was the only one around, Spean Bridge junction was a great place to watch with this MGB unsure of which way to go a Saab 99 not even on the right map - glad to be of some help

Oh, and for those who fancied the Merc Taxi it was still going strong immediately followed by the slightly worse for wear Audi (80 I think?)

Seemingly there is snow lying for the overnight climb through the Bealach Na Ba to Applecross

Hi the Audi was truly tatty when she left lands end. Clearly the owner concentrates on reliability. Fantastic effort though

My choice of vehicle not to do this event in must be the Landrover, just hope they're not standard seats of they'll be anable to walk at the events end, take my hat off to them for even entering
Great photos chaps

  Learned to drive in a series 1 and can also vouch for those seats. Had the same thought/pain when the old lady passed by on Monday night near Fort William. Not for the faint-hearted!
