A class leading car

Post by stevesims » Sat Sep 05, 2015 10:26 pm

This is a cut and paste from a trials news email, the subject is a proposed tyre type ban.looks like the SS1 has them worried.
Rob Wells is another owner to be affected: I too am a user of these tyres and I have to agree with Derek Reynolds. We all try to be competitive and the class would be a lot smaller without the X-90. I think that many would not bother if the X-90 did not go as well as it does. It is generally a cheap and reliable car, if not a class winner (certainly if there is a Reliant SS about) and as a relatively underpowered and heavy car it needs all the traction it can get. Who made the proposal to ban them?
