It's a good spot by Mike, but personally I'd go for one of the Drift 170 cameras. They're about the same price, have a proper mount and a remote control.

Or these look to be a good buy. HD too :D

I used the handle bar mount on a short length of tube, then clamped that assembly to the cage with a couple of jubilee clips. There's a piece of foam rubber in between to stop it slipping about.

For a minute there Steve I thought you were showing the views from your camera and was wondering why you've a rear quarter facing one, thought surely he's not expecting to be overtaken sprinting

The other thing I should of said is that these cameras have a rotating lens so that you can always set the horizon horizontal whatever the angle the camera body is at as Steve's picture shows. Clever little units that some bright spark has really though about IMHO

I've been having a few problems with the remote on my camera, so have been on the lookout for something else. I'd really like a GoPro, having seen the footage that Jim K and Mikey have posted recently. The quality is just brilliant...

However, I still can't justify £350 for the one I'd like. I'm not making feature films, it's just to review my driving and I'd rather spend the money on go faster bits

I found this on fleebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2014-Newest-W ... 1038653540. It's obviously a design rip-off of the GoPro, but at under £60 it might be worth a punt :?

Inevitably you get what you pay for. But it's HD and it has a remote control, which are my two main criteria.

Has anyone tried one, or bought something similar from China ?

Maybe the metal on the wheel is blocking the signal...

I'll give that a go.
