Theoretically the e mark is a construction and use regulation - but depends on the mot tester?

Sorry if its been said already, but do the roadie class regs require E marked or FIA approved?

no idea, would assume E marked as FIA is a sporting body rather than safety body

The blue book says belts must be from a recognised manufacturer and fitted as per instructions. No mixing of belts from different systems to one seat. FIA approved for international events only. No mention of E marked but that may be a requirement for MOT :?:

A local company is selling 4 point harnesses for £22.99 but no markings on them so decided to go for Securon. I have 3 point Securon in the car now.

Regardless of whether E-marking is required for the MOT, if it's a construction & use legal requirement (not the same thing :w ) then you may need it if you're going to drive the car on the road (and be insured...... :w )
