The organisers have been in touch with me and informed me that only one entry has been received from SSSC Competitors, and that's Trev Shortt.
What's going on guys? No one else entering?

Raz,

Chris and me at Aintree, Trevor at Ty Croes.

I don't know about Gav :?:

Only Trevor on 2 days last year at Ty Croes, with Gav doing one.

Hopefully it won't clash next year

A quick write up.....

The fast Anglesey coastal circuit saw Scimitar entries from Trevor Shortt's Coupe on both the Saturday and Sunday with a late and welcome addition to the entry list from Brian Crouch in his standard SE5 for the Sunday only - having been at Aintree the day before.

Trevor's times were 127.65 on Round 1 and 125.33 on Round 2. Red Rocket was suffering an uncharacteristic intermittent misfire which made the timed runs variable but the times posted were very respectable when the car was on song seeing off some much more modern machines in the mod prod over 2000cc class to take a class win both days.

Brian put in a time in the Road Going Production class of 154.48 in his first time at the venue and greatly enjoyed the lack of grip a non LSD provides in the bend exits

Good to see Lakes Noggin member Antony Cheetham spectating and Brian Crouch Jnr supporting dad.

Some pics to follow if I can upload them....

Addendum to the above from Crouchy B - the lap time of 125.33 is a new record set against the old supermod times (previously jointly held by Paul T and me at 127.40. The outright Scimitar record rests with Ben Gough in a charging lap in Big Bob in 2008 with a time of 118 secs

Couldn't find that :-( still a good time Trevor and if she'd been running a little better on Sunday could have been better still
