CM Awards presentation 23 November 2019

“Mark Everett” wrote:It is my pleasure to announce that arrangements for this season's Awards Dinner are now under way. As a reminder, the dinner will be dedicated to celebrating the Classic Marques Speed Championship, and we welcome all members and their guests to join us.

We are returning to Ansty Hall who looked after us brilliantly last year, and I think all whom attended would thoroughly agree.

Please remember, this is not just an evening for the awards winners to celebrate and enjoy, but an evening when all of us who have competed this year can swap stories and relive the year's experiences. It is also a great occasion to celebrate away from the race track, and treat those loved ones who have patiently put up with all the trials and tribulations we have caused them!

So please come along and make it an evening not to forget!

Date: Saturday 23rd November, 1830 drinks, 1930 dinner
Venue: Ansty Hall Hotel, Main Rd, Ansty, Nr. Coventry CV7 9HZ
Tel; 03448799031

http://www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk

The dinner cost will be kept in line with last years at approx. £38 for a 3-course dinner including coffee and petits fours.

Double room B&B will be £99 and Single room B&B will be £89.

If you think this is too much for your wallet, please bear in mind that this event will probably cost you a lot less than a race day with much less chance of incurring an expensive accident (except to one's dignity perhaps!), so dust off your DJ and dresses and help make a great night of it!

Importantly, it is also an opportunity to raise further funds for our chosen charity for this year - Prostate Cancer. As usual, there will be an auction of gifts donated (so please start looking in the back of your garage/lock-up now), and a speech from one of their representatives on how we have contributed to their cause this year.

To reserve your room, please call Ansty Hall on 03448799031 following the options for new reservations and book your room quoting quoting Classic Marques Dinner to get the discount rate. Last year’s evening was a roaring success and we are expecting a fantastic attendance this year so don't delay; check with your responsible adult NOW and get dialling!

Once you have booked please try and remember to let me know so that I can collate numbers.

Kind Regards,

Mark Everett

for Classic Marques Speed Championship

Jim King

I can no longer go to this as I'm double booked (Other event is a charity dinner for the local hospice, so had to choose with my conscience).

I hope everyone has a great time.
