Result! As long as I can keep it on the tarmac and not break it, it may take my season score from embarrassment to respectable.

Just seen on a Facebook post from Steve Cox that Ben Everett managed to roll his mx5 this weekend - he’s fine, car isn’t.

I’m guessing it didn’t have a full cage - did it have any ROPS?

Don't they have ROP over the seat tops as standard?

Scary though

I think the pretty chromed hoops behind the seats are an option - I think they had a proper rear hoop.

The thing I take away from those pics is the scary deformation of the windscreen pillars. Although four point rear ROPS (like a couple of us have) should keep us out of the squish zone, deformation on that scale would make self extrication very tricky. With a blistering hot turbo and fluids sloshing around under the bonnet, I'd want to be out pretty quickly.

I know what this Winter's job is now

I agree, time to look at a cage I think, why did they load it onto the trailer upside down?

I have just emailed performance and protection regarding the extra sections to go from 4 point to 6 point £435+V will be money well spent for 2019.

Probably too difficult to turn it over given the location and circumstances
