Oh boo :( Mira have big plans coming up in the near future for massive expansion. Also, the slice of a5 going past it will become dual carriage way towards tamworth.

That IS allowed - just need to tie up beforehand. Certainly no cameras allowed though!

I've been to two product evaluation days and a car launch at MIRA. The secrecy there is a joke, there is a lot less security at many MOD sites in the UK. You can almost guarantee that anything in there is known about by the motoring press and that pictures have been published somewhere of the cars being tested.

If any member ever gets the chance to have a drive there it is well worth doing; the Alpine track is a blast - especially if they don't impose a speed limit on the day!

Driven the sprint track a few times, fast and grippy. And sometimes you can get a few extra runs in.
