I'll find the rest this week - I just wanted to start a thread for each of the tracks in our calendar to promote some chat :-)

This is a really superb venue; a great weekend with a double lapper on Saturday and a single lap of the longer International circuit on Sunday.

Lots of runs, no long waits between runs, cheap entry and superb facilities including on site bar and food for the evening and free camping. Also lots for the family to do locally if they fancy a weekend away

I'm of the opinion that we should push this event as another opportunity for the northern based and southern based compies to pit themselves against each other.

Yes I know access is not the best but it is motorway most of the way and if you make a weekend of it its not too bad.

Myself and Steve Cork are considering doing the other sprint at this venue in 2014 even though its not on our championship calendar.

Cant recommend it highly enough guys!!!!

fully agree, when the SSSC first started going there, we used to get 8-10 entrants, great weekend, loadsa banter 8)

re doing non-RSSOC events, you will need to be a member of an invited club though to compete, MSA rules

no, not as an individual, invited clubs only (you, like me, never read the regs for an event either then  )

you will have to check the SRs for whichever event you wish to entre and see if Classic marques is on the list or email Steve Cox.

any particular reason you wish to do it twice in a year? (4 times as its two weekenders)

Fair enough.
Why not speak to Nick H and see if we can get on theinvited clubs list for the other event?
I cant see much point it being a champiosnhip round to be honest as we struggle to get enough to one per year let alone two but just as an invite might be ok

Good idea.

It would be great if we can increase attendance for the championship round; I think it could be a superb compie weekend

Ty Croes is on the Classic Marques calendar twice http://media.wix.com/ugd/fd72d2_4201195 ... f7e62d.pdf, which is why I mentioned it to Steve, as I'd assumed that if we entered the CMSC 2014 we could gain entry to the extra one at the end of August that isn't on the SSSC calendar.

I'm not sure if I can actually do both, but if it's technically possible and I have the time off work I will. Main reasons are because it's a cracking circuit and the best value sprinting of the year for £'s to track miles.
