My thoughts exactly Roger. 8)

Went to collect the car today and the garage on giving the car a wash after all the work ( was filthy after its trip up from Devon on a trailer) found that the Recovery Company had misplaced the front nearside fixing strap which has caused rubbing and paint loss to the spoiler and above paintwork........it never rains but it pours.......

Was due to do an event in East Kilbride soon so looks like I will have to cancel that too.......

I feel your pain, that's a real annoyance and should have been blatantly obvious to the recovery company. I trust you will be having a word with your insurers.

Well, managed to get the car back on Friday before the Kittoch Car Rally yesterday. The route took us through 120 miles of South Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders. By the time I got back to Edinburgh we covered about 200 miles in the day and the engine as usual didn't miss a beat. Unfortunately there is still an issue with the exhaust but you cannot have it all, after all its only 2 months since the initial incident!! Will keep the updates going as the saga continues. :hand:
