Very Nice! :D Looks like a straight six Coupe, which looks like this:

So basically original, though the red trim and grey carpets almost certainly aren't?

Thanks Roger for the explanation ... I had never seen a straightsix coupe dashboard before
(always thought that all coupes had the same dashboard, i.e same as the SE5)
Happy to learn a new Scimitar thing a day

I must admit that I love it ... whether black or red !
For some reason I like a metal dashboard ... it looks neat and thinner I think (personal taste of course)
I feel comfy when I am in the Anglia or the Consul ... so much for security though

Thanks Chris for the link to the german site - I should have thought of searching in this direction -
The Register section is great, which reminds me that I owe you an Excel file for our french community

Cheers, Fred

Never having had a Coupe, I can't confirm this first hand, but the owner of the car in my photo told me that the "wooden" part of the dash is actually Formica. It does look very convincing though. :)

I believe that to be the case, Roger. Some have been retro-fitted with "real" wood though :D
