New Roll Bar fitted to my SS1

Post by goldadonis1 » Sat Jul 19, 2014 3:09 pm

Yesterday, on the hottest day of the year myself and a good friend who owns an X1/9 decided it would be a good idea to fit the roll bar sourced through the club to my SS1 following the fitting advice from ScimJim. After 4.5 hours and several visits to the hardware shop to get different HEX Bolts and a lot of pulling and shoving I now have a properly fitted Roll Bar, I think it looks great.

All bolts and washers should have been included?

Is that boot rack permanently fitted or removable and what make is it? I'm thinking of getting one for a trip later in the year but didn't really want to put holes in my bootlid.
