I’m so sorry to hear of this. Much paddock time spent over many years in the company of BC and Mrs Pit Crew. Sincere condolences to Brian and the family. So sad so early into retirement for you both.

I only ride 'em - I dunno what makes them work

Thank you all for your kind words of love and support which continue to help us through the most difficult emotional heart-ache we have ever felt. I know she loved being involved with the competitive and social side of our club and actively encouraged son, son-in-law, granddaughter and husband to enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of all the events we attended. It is barely five weeks ago that we were returning from a wonderful weekend in North Yorkshire at Harewood hillclimb where all the Scimitar drivers successfully achieved Personal Best times, her pleasure at this notable record was evident by the huge smile she wore.
Please be assured of a warm welcome to the celebration of her life and at the "old Skool" garden party afterwards, parking available across the road in the church car park by kind permission, "Scimitar only" parking in our yard. B C Flat Hat.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts, deeds and words. It was comforting to see many club members come from far and wide to celebrate her life and talk of her achievements. A Coupe, 5, 5a, 6 and a Scimitar/Sabre were displayed in the yard to mark her close association with the RSSOC and, as a special gesture, this was carried by two of the locomotives working on the NYMR service trains today driven by her son-in-law.
