I had not seen that on the news - 1 hour ago - big shock as its not so long since he was last on the beeb.

So sad.. It seems the greats are dropping like flies in 2016. Cancer is truly awful. Rest in peace, and thank you for being the only reason to watch the Eurovision Song Contest.

Age 77 after a short illness. It was a notification on the bbc news app on the iPad I found it....
I haven't seen it in the news this morning either??

As a kid i was made to listen to Terry Wogan in the mornings while getting ready for school and years later i made my own kids listen to him too...

I think we all turned out ok.

sad day for broadcasting both tv and radio. News was a thunderbolt shock to ourselves this morning , obviously his illness had been kept very hush -hush just like Dave bowie before. Will miss his humour espescially his janet & John stories on radio 2.

RIP Sir Terry, and condolences to all that knew him.
