My Brother

Post by Mateybass » Mon Feb 23, 2015 3:07 am

My brother Brian passed away in February after a short illness. I went with him to pick his SST 1400 up a few years back and had to drive it back for him so he is the reason that I too own an SST 1400. See this thread for the original story. His was number 21. Between us we owned 18% of SST 1400 factory output and had been on a couple of classic car runs with both of them together. We were planning to do the East Coast Run this year from Hull to Bridlington but sadly me and Vienna will have to do it alone now.

This photo was the last time they were promoting the brand together, September 2014.

Very sorry to hear that, my condolences.

Sounds like you were a close family and hopefully you also have some good memories based on your shared appreciation of these cars.

Very sad, my condolences.
As Will says you must have some good memories, especially involving Scimitars.
Keep promoting SST's (what am I saying, they are pointy cars 8-)

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. The SST will always remind me of him... a good reason to look after it.
