R.I.P Edward ( Eddy ) Shepard ( Lancs Noggin )

Post by alan.wells » Thu Apr 13, 2017 7:59 pm

It is sad news to report that Eddy lost his long fight with illness, and sadly past away on Monday evening. He was a founder member of the RSSOC and the first secretary of the Lancashire noggin.
He was a keen sprinter in the early seventies and eighties competing in his Coupe.
His funeral will take place on Friday 21st April at West Lancashire Crematorium Burcough , Nr Ormskirk, Southport, at 13.45

Sad news indeed.

Did Eddy also own an ex Royal car presumably ex Princess Anne ? This 6a had a full leather interior superbly done, and is the only one I have seen close up.

RIP Eddy

Sad news. I only met Eddy once, at Coupe Day in 1986 at Tony Richardson's place in Congleton. IIRC he had a white coupe at the time. RIP

Yes, he was the former owner of the car now owned by Geoff Newcombe.

Sorry to hear the news,

RIP Eddy
