Many thanks to John Leslie and helpers for a great afternoon yesterday at his pad in west Bucks for the Bledlow Classic Car Display, alongside the Church Fete.

Around half the roadworthy Sabres in the UK attended, all lined up here:

Sabres at Bledlow

Well done Chris;
That was quick, I haven't downloaded from the camera any of our pictures yet!
For the record, I believe the attendees were: Tony & Jackie Heath, Richard Wos, Andy Burfield, John Leslie, John Valler, Philip Needham & Chris Gallacher, but not necessarily in that order!
An excellent day out.
Philip.

You beat me to it! :D I was going to post a photo of this sent to me by a friend who is a relation of John Leslie and knows my interest in Scimitars/Sabres. I believe there were about 90 cars on show. Well done on getting about half the roadworthy Sabres in the country there!

More from the 2018 classic car show at Bledlow a YouTube video of some of the more interesting cars (thanks to Tony Heath for finding it). Have a look at below link the best bit at around 10 min 23 sec if you do not want to watch the whole thing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CFoWOQ9jns

John Leslie is again hosting the display this year, it will take place as before in his back garden, at postcode HP27 9PD on Saturday 22nd June. Are there any more Reliants other than Sabre 4s & 6s able to go this year John is hoping to break the 100 barrier this year.

All the best John V

John, Tony and I reckoned that vid clearly shows it's time for Clarkson, May and Hammond to move over. You know, new kids on the block...

John Leslie needs to know who is intending to come to work out parking places for the display. If you email John he will give you all the details of how to get there and what happens on the day

We had a great time last year, but unfortunately we are booked into a Summer Ball on the 22nd of June, so won't be able to join you at the Bledlow Village Fete.
Wishing you all a fine day, and hopefully we'll see you in September in Kent.

Hi all,
I've suddenly realised Bledlow is on the way to Milton Keynes, which is where our Summer Ball is being held. Provided I can get away by about 4.00pm I think we can make the Village Fete AND go to the Ball!
I'll email John to confirm attendance, and perhaps we can recreate last year's turnout.
Philip
