Supercar run-out

Post by chrisgallacher » Sun Jan 13, 2019 9:33 pm

25 supercars. And a Sabre Six!

Great run-out today through the Surrey Hills to the wonderful Octane Collection at Rudgwick near Horsham. Amazing how small the Sabre seems amongst this illustrious company. Shame about the campervan :)

The Octane Collection is a wonderful selection of supercars discretely marketed, with a few classics amongst them. This Ferrari Enzo could be yours for a cool £2.5m - but not too practical for the Sainsburys run:

Thanks Brian! It looks ok in photos but it's still only a 5-yard respray though :)

Your Sabre looks very comfortable in that company.

Great pics and I'm sure a few supercar owners were envious of the Sabre Chris 8)

This photo always makes me smile, from a couple of years back when I went to a Goodwood breakfast meeting with the local Lambo and Ferrari. Lined up together in the sunshine, which one caught the punters' attention?

The Sabre looks good Chris, and very much at home in the surroundings! :D

You say they are "discreetly marketed", they're only a few miles from our noggin (on the other side of Horsham), but I hadn't heard of them - mind you I'm unlikely to buy a million-pound car anytime soon

I get the impression Octane approaches you to become a customer, not the other way round Roger! And if you have to ask the price... etc etc. No forecourt presence, all tucked away on a small, modern light industrial estate behind discrete security gates. Unit was anonymous with no signage that I could see. We did have the ok to share photos on social media, so here are some of the cars for sale - some outright by Octane, some on commission for their owners. Not a single windscreen sticker price in sight. I think my favourite was the lovely Porsche 356:

PS: the external photo was of the convoy of cars that made the run across to Horsham, not the ones for sale. Thundering through the Hindhead tunnel in convoy was something else!

Cracking cars there. Some amateur sleuthing has turned up that the non lottery winner cars are advertised under a different company... https://www.autotrader.co.uk/dealers/we ... ofile_cars

The really cool stuff is here http://www.theoctanecollection.com/for-sale/
