3 litre badge

Post by Chet » Sat Oct 12, 2019 4:47 am

I have not been able to find a "3 litre" boot badge for the SE4a I'm restoring. I may be able to get a local badge maker/engraver to make a one-off. If somebody could give me the outside measurements of a 3 litre badge and post a close-up photo, that would be a great help.
A related question: did coupes have "overdrive" badges?
Cheers,
John

Blurred photobucket but I think this answers the dimension question? You might be able to get the sharper image if you go into Pb itself?

Think I may have one... but not 100% sure. Will have a look over the next couple of days.

Is this the one you want? The exact measurements are:
Width - 56.56mm / 2.2"
Height - 24.66mm / 0.97"
Pin spacing - 36.07mm / 1.42"
Pin length - 15mm / 0.59"

I'll be interested to see the end result. :)
