Hi Emile,
I can add you to the list, no problem.
I'm waiting to hear more from the guy that's making them. Hopefully it'll be soon.

Sorry for the delay, I'm very aware it's been a long wait. I'm waiting for final confirmation but do know that 7 sets have been made and should be available in the next week. I'll ring my contact this evening for an update. The perils of being the middle-man!

It seems they are acrylic rather than polycarbonate as the shape was difficult to form in the latter, hence the failed first attempt. Apparently, polycarbonate isn't ideal for headlight covers (as opposed to complete headlight units where impact resistance is more critical) as it yellows with age as well as being less transparent than acrylic. In addition, acrylic can be easily polished if it gets scratched whereas polycarbonate can't.

I haven't seen the covers yet so I have no pictures but I will post as soon as I have more information. I am told they'll be £100 a set, which is what they cost to produce.

I'll post an update, hopefully with pictures, as soon as I know more. :)

A more helpful update ..... hopefully.

I will be collecting the covers next Tuesday (21st May) and will post some pictures soon afterwards. I'll make sure I get full details of cost etc. so we can then get a final list together of interested parties.

My apologies for the delay, which was outside my control. Hopefully the covers will be with their new owners within a couple of weeks.
