A couple of items.

First I have wrongly listed JUH 361E as JDH, goodness knows why because on the previous photo it doesn't look like a D ...
This is an old photo apparently, taken by Graham Woodward and found on Flickr, last confirmed sighting was in '94.

Then we have a brand new photo of JUT 434E taken by Mark Beedham's sister at Holker Hall.
Recently restored I believe.

Anyone know the chassis number of either of these cars ?

Still catching-up the backlog from Silverstone - re JUT434E in the previous post, it was on the Club stand at Silverstone, looking very smart. Sadly I didn't realise it was one for which you had no chassis number, so I didn't get it, I'm afraid. Here it is:

Had a chat with the owner, this was the car's first outing since the rebuild; the owner's called Philip, and he lives in Morecambe (Lancs) and he's looking for some parts, so he might be at Curbs. Don't know any more than that.

A couple of snippets from Slice

Dave Speed's Coupé with 3.1 Essex is advertised for sale (by Chris Fairclough in Oxfordshire?) at 7950 sterling.
At this price I'm surprised it has not yet found a taker ...

Wim Deinum's very interesting article confirms many details on the left-hand drive cars of Holland.
It also raises one query - he says chassis 0422 was a factory lhd, but this car was originally registered in the UK JKG 541E, then in Holland LV-90-KR.
This doesn't seem very logical; on the other hand there is a precedent with chassis 0720 which was MFW 723F then DR-45-21.
The latter car looks like a conversion (windscreen wipers park on the left) which could mean that it was changed in view of a move to Holland.
There are no photos of JKG 541E / LV-90-KR

Hi Guys JUT 434E. It's mine. 2year refurb a run round the block and then left for Silverstone (175 miles ) Made it but my poorly rebuild 40 weber only turned 17 to the gallon. I have now fitted a new 38 dgms and am sorting out the volume screws. I managed to get the electric sunroof operating again after much research. It's all period porsche 911. I have lots of pics and could go on and on but enough. Cheers Phil D

Oops nearly forgot. Chassis no. 8240047. Was lying idle for 16 years before I got her. Thanks Phil. Got home fine just that noisy timing gear and about 17 to the gal. Will not be at Curbs but have entered for Oulton Park on the Sunday. Cheers Phil D.

Chassis no. 8240047
that’ll be SC prefix but there’s a digit missing from 40047?
