Yes, earliest E reg car on the list is chassis 0154, JWH 120E (scrapped)
then a long gap to chassis 0269, UPU 854E (in South Africa)

A couple of snippets from Slice

Dave Speed's Coupé with 3.1 Essex is advertised for sale (by Chris Fairclough in Oxfordshire?) at 7950 sterling.
At this price I'm surprised it has not yet found a taker ...

Wim Deinum's very interesting article confirms many details on the left-hand drive cars of Holland.
It also raises one query - he says chassis 0422 was a factory lhd, but this car was originally registered in the UK JKG 541E, then in Holland LV-90-KR.
This doesn't seem very logical; on the other hand there is a precedent with chassis 0720 which was MFW 723F then DR-45-21.
The latter car looks like a conversion (windscreen wipers park on the left) which could mean that it was changed in view of a move to Holland.
There are no photos of JKG 541E / LV-90-KR

Could it be that LV-90-KR and 94-88-DG are the same car somehow??? I have pictures of Win Deinum's coupe registered as 94-88-DG, which is indeed a factory LHD coupe.

It could have been bought by a Dutch person working in UK (consulate for example), who then took it back to Holland? I’m not sure what the import tax implications were at the time but it may have been beneficial to register it in UK, then import as a second hand car (which still attracts less tax today, on a sliding scale with age)?

Are you saying that 94-88-DG is chassis 414? Old records showed that chassis 414 was for 72-32-ZP??

They both are/were
0414 was first (?) registered 72-32-ZP and re-registered by Wim 94-88-DG

Actually it could be 0407
This is a mysterious car which no-one has ever seen and whose recorded registration is suspiciously similar to my old one MOB 407F / MDB 407F.
Mis-read and mis-recorded in West Yorkshire in 1987 ?
My car (chassis 0804) was in West Yorkshire in 1987 ...

This car is a LHD conversion, years later when it had a small restoration.

This is how the Dutch system works:
A car gets a reg no when on the first registration. In case of # 414 it was 94-88-DG.
In the old days when papers got lost or alikes a new reg no was issued. In this case that happened. #414 became 72-32-ZP.
Later is was decided the original reg no should be the only one so it was possible to get it back. This was applied to #414, so bye to 72-32-ZP and hello again to 94-88-DG.
In this day and age the original reg is the only one.

A few pages back this post in May reported that chassis 834, KPR701G was up for sale in Preston. Well it looks as though it has changed hands, as it turned up on Sunday 4th Aug at a classic meet at The Departure Lounge cafe in Alton in Hampshire. I wasn't there, but it was photographed by one of my fellow Goodwood photographers, so the photo credit goes to David Cutcliffe, please.
