Hi guys. the sunroof in my v6 coupe is now giving me grief. It's a rare electric one and the motor is knackered, It's a bosch unit no. 0132001004. apparantly may be off a 70's porsche 911 Anyone got any ideas ? Cheers Phil D. P.S. I know where there is a good straight six car for quick sale.

Doing a search there is more than one type used - one looks similar to the electric window motors used in the 6's and SS1s - perhaps with a bit of lateral thinking one of those can be made to fit

Yep, I would have thought a more modern motor could be used as long as the drive gears are okay and can be adapted to fit?

I think the original is the same as a Porsche, so replacements will be available - at Porsche prices 8)
Alex B was talking about removing his (original) sunroof to have more headroom, I don't know if the motor is serviceable.

I may have someone interested in the Straight Six, he was looking but has been out of action for some time, I'll ask him.

It's a window lift motor fitted to Porsche and ISO cars now discontinued not surprisingly, does it look like these?

Interesting link, but doesn't exacty shout oput that there are hundreds around.
https://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/other- ... motor.html

If you can track one down in the USA, I have visitors here who can take it back to the UK for you.

For some reason when i google that number I get a lot of hits for a different one 0130111001
https://www.autopartswarehouse.com/engi ... 0130111001
http://www.koperformance.com/part-image ... /BOSCH.jpg
Maybe the number for the actual motor part, rather than moter +cse etc??
If so, I saw one as low as $80

If I can be of any help on a USA purchase/scimitarians transfer please let me know.

Wow thanks guys. Mike that is exactly the motor I need. I have the drive and the gearbox. I will do some more digging and maybe ring Nigel I can't fit in anything any larger as space is tight. The USA connection may be the answer. I'll try. Cheers Phil D. P.S. any one got any coupe door handles (mk 1 cortina I believe) Cheers Phil D.

How about this number as a possible alternative?
0130805003
https://www.ebay.de/itm/223349736259
Looks very similar. The electircal details are the same (12v 40a 4500u/min)

Interestingly I think I found one with your part number for sale
https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-2000-CS-E9 ... :rk:1:pf:0

The listing shows 0130805003 but the case of the motor 0132001004. Look how shiny the cover is compared to the rest of it. Maybe a differetn cover has been used, or maybe the 2 part numbers are for teh same thing. MAybe that seller (in germany) knows.
Not cheap but get in there quick before all theowners of Lincolk Mk III's spot it!! If the part numbers are interechangable maybe you can find a better price on a 0130805003

Perhaps the case is that the gearing/mechanism is different (windows/sunroofs , but the actual motors the same?
