Post by Jagersveld » Tue Mar 24, 2020 8:39 pm

Does anyone have a suggestion where exactly the connection of the brake pad wear indicator should be mounted?

Hello, unfortunately I have not yet received an answer. Not even via Facebook! If someone has a suggestion, I would like to hear it.

My screen wasn't big enough to get Jim's reply (throw it in the bin).

but don't you need to bridge the connector to make the warning lights to work properly?
(After thrown it in bin)
for us in the UK (assumeyou are not?) it is a bit of a grey area with what warning lights should or should not come on with the ignition, even the low fluid level light SHOULD be part of the test, and it MUST work when the wee button / float on the top is depressed!!!

No, completing the circuit makes the light come on.

I agree when the LOOP touches earth pad warning comes on, ie the disc,

but I'm sure I had odd results with handbrake warning light (I think) so I just used an old 'sensor' from worn pads plugged in and tucked away under the fuse box so that the loop is complete :-)
