I just ordered a set of these after reading this thread, my se6a clusters are blighted by poor earth's and dodgy bulb contacts, I'm fed up with checking my tail lights/indicators every time I go out lol.
For anyone else considering this option at the moment, they are only £14 plus £12 postage so only £26 all in..... down by 30% I believe... I will also be using LED bulbs where possible in them as they come 'bulbless'
I will post my my results as soon as I've fitted them

Me too. Would consider LED bulbs all round if there is a good source. I have recently thrown out some cheap imported headlight bulbs. They are cheap for a reason and I got less than 6 months out of them.

I have these lights already. He advertises them for different models and charges different prices. Check out when buying as I did not pay this price.
Did not think of LED bulbs, where do I get them from, what to order ect, especially as I need new ones?

If you fit these lights you don't really need to go to the expense of LED lamps as they perform far better than the original light unit, although with LED's being a quicker responding light might be useful for the brake lights, I did try the cheap all in the end LED's

in the reversing lights, quickly took them out, very poor, if you do go LED I can recommend Cree lamps but make sure you get the type with LEDs on the end AND

round the sides so the reflectors do their job as it's the way the light fittings are designed to work.

Possibly one for Corky this, but are these lamp units the same as the Sabre Mk2's? or is there one that's suits without body mods?

Id like to use my Sabre on the road again as the seasons over, and 1980s lights in a dark coloured car on motorways is a recipe for getting trodden on by an artic!

any help appreciated Chaps 8)

I suppose some new clusters with LED bulbs would improve things ?

the clusters are in good condition to be fair, so maybe just LED bulbs.

is there a 'decent' zero hassle source? don't want to fart about with resistors, differing relays and all that cobblers, just remove existing and replace jobbies?

Thanks in advance :-)

Just need to change the indicator relay to a LED type, should do the trick

Not sure if it's a problem, but doesn't the ad say they're 24V?

For GTE, I thought these might work. The Photoshops aren't to scale, so how much surgery would be required is another story.
