Ok its a big project but these cars are getting rare now and if you lived locally It might be viable to put it back on the road without spending too much money... :w

I hate auctions like this where the purpose of winning one part can be negated by losing just one, he is also selling the front seats separate, no mention of engine, gearbox or propshaft, you may find that this isn't such a cheap project especially if you were to lose just one of the auctions.

This is the kind of BS advised in E-Bay business centre to drive up auction values, it has the opposite effect on me - I don't bid at all. If he had listed it all together I might have had a punt but as is - no thanks.

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

I agree the seller is listing it in the worst possible way. I actually believe it would have fetched more if he hadn't butchered it.

If anyone really wanted it I'd be trying to make the seller an offer outside ebay, Offer £200-300 for all the bits he's got and explain that you want to keep it as a car. I cant see the bodyshell making much money on its own and I'm not sure about the value of the chassis, contrary to what the seller thinks the rebel axle is not a good choice for a trike as the diff ratios are way too low.

The missing transmission parts are obtainable second hand elsewhere. Also if you wanted to do an engine conversion you might not need them.
