Squeaky rubber

Post by ard126k » Sun Dec 31, 2017 11:48 am

I've had to go down some bumpy farm tracks recently which has shown up the squeaking and creaking from the door rubber seals. I wonderd if tyre dressing might quieten them, or has anyone any better ides?
Alex.

Try dusting the rubbers with talcum powder. I know it may sound daft but it does work. I read this tip some time ago and know that it does the job

Silicone spray also works , sometimes sold for treating squeaky drive-belts. Its also good for stopping your doors freezing shut in extreme weather.
