Post by Diyhell » Tue Jan 24, 2017 8:41 pm

Which vehicle do these come from? Have searched the forum and looked in Altapart but no joy.

Mine are horrible...

I have the same problem. I was searching around Ebay yesterday, and I saw some advertised as Jaguar replacements -but now I can't find them again! If anybody finds them, please let's know.

Oh dear.....the "what car" disease that now pervades the motor industry! :)

Spindle diameter, number and size of splines and any 'key' blank splines together with arm length should enable the finding of a match.

Sorry I don't have the info in my data files as I have never had the problem of having to locate them......sure someone will come up with more info.

Thanks Greeny. I could kick myself: I fail to consider that the 2 main suppliers will have the parts (slaps head)

Don't stress. Took me years to consider that I could go to them for wiper arms. I fact I got them from curbs last year!!!!!!!

Don't forget the 3rd - Reliant Partsworld but they only understand part numbers (generally).

TEX Automotive do them in stainless steel to fit the se6 you can also use the adjustable length ones which have a screw clamp which helps if your splines are a bit worn.
Google TEX Automotive, hope this helps.
