Scimitar GTC Stainless Steel Wheel Nuts

Post by Rob Jones » Thu May 15, 2014 4:21 pm

Well then,

Amazing what you can find on the internet, stumbled across on a Middlebridge site a guy who can make a set of stainless steel wheel nuts with scimitar emblem embossed with stainless washers £95.00 bargain less than £6.00 each including delivery, how can you make them for that???

No more cleaning surface rust of the originals, incidentally it was over £100.00 to have originals re-chromed!!!!!

Whilst writing, is it acceptable to use copper for fuel lines, I have replaced the rubbers, the plastic tube seems sound but i like the idea of copper as the tube is under no pressure and is on a mechanical pump located on the engine.

any advise greatly appreciated.

Kind regards
Rob.

That will be Bill Brighton at a guess. I think he's in the Recommended Suppliers section on here? If not, he should be :D

The Nylon should be fine - personally I wouldn't swap it out for copper or even Kunifer.

Yes, Bill is indeed in the recommended suppliers section here, thoroughly nice bloke and longstanding club member. Can also usually supply other things in stainless like hatch handles.

he does it in his spare time, so doesn't advertise. I'll call him and ask though.

No-one. We looked into getting a batch made several years ago but it didn't go ahead because the TVR Club (who share the cap) found a load of old stock caps.
