I'm not an Apple user but most browsers now check whether a site on which you are required to enter login details is secure, i.e. uses HTTPS protocol and not HTTP. It doesn't mean there's an issue, just that you shouldn't enter sensitive personal details on the site. There are browsers that force the use of HTTPS but I'm not sure which are available for IOS.
Most sites will also operate the HTTPS protocol. Try logging on using https://www.scimitarweb.co.uk and you shouldn't get the alert.

I can see the picture, on my Sony Viao running Windows 10, and yes, I get the "Not secure" message.
I run "Ghostery" which is telling me there are two trackers (disabled) watching me; Advertising, and Essential.
No worries.
For the record, Ghostery blocks some links; I had to turn it off yesterday trying to check my RAC membership; Ghostery had been blocking 31 trackers!

If you access the forum through a saved bookmark (I suspect many people, like me, do?) then it's worth checking whether your saved bookmark starts "http" or "https". If it uses the plain insecure http one, (which it may well do if you saved it some time ago) then try editing it to read https, then you should find it accesses the more secure version of the site, and if you see a little padlock next to the address it will be green rather than grey - that may help with your message

Yes, It's not a particularly new problem, it's come up a few times over the last 18 months or more

Check the date & time on your computer. If its a few years old, the little watch battery may have ran out within your computer - this allows the computer to retain the correct date & time. If it has failed and the date/time are wrong, then access to https sites may be affected.
